Re-run Verify afterward to see whether the reported damage cleared.

What Verify and Rebuild can't catch

An important limitation: while Verify detects many types of data damage, it does not detect all of the damage that might be present in your file. A file can pass Verify and still hold deeper structural problems, and Rebuild only addresses the issues it can recognize and safely correct.

The file crashes, won't open, or throws read errors the tools can't resolve.
